2. General

We process personal data only as far as necessary to operate this website, handle enquiries and conduct business relationships, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., Larnaca, Cyprus. Technically necessary data is processed on the host's servers when you visit the site. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable provision of the website.

4. Server log files

Each visit automatically records your IP address, date and time, the page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data serves the security and stability of the website and is not combined with other data sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted after no more than [number] days.

5. Quote requests and email

If you send us a quote request or an email, we process the details you provide (company, name, email address, delivery country, optional address and phone, part numbers and uploaded files) to answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation. Your request is sent to us by email and, as a backup against lost messages, stored on our web server for up to three months. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If a business relationship follows, we keep the data as long as statutory retention periods require (in particular under German commercial and tax law: 6 or 10 years).

6. Quote list in your browser

Part numbers you add to the quote list are stored only in your own browser (local storage) so the list is not lost while you browse. This data is not sent to us until you submit the form, and you can delete it at any time by removing the items or clearing your browser data. Legal basis: § 25(2) TDDDG.

7. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for analytics or marketing. Your language choice is remembered in your browser's local storage. Legal basis: § 25(2) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

8. Fonts

All fonts used on this website are stored locally on our server. No connection to Google or other third-party servers is made when you load a page.

9. Links to social networks

Our website contains simple links to our profiles on Instagram and Facebook (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). You are only redirected to the provider's site when you click a link; the provider's privacy policy applies there.

10. SSL/TLS encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser's address bar.

11. Your rights
